it cost to treat her?

• What kind of person is Shawn Levering, her owner? How can you

tell?

Her owner is very loving to his cat because it really did hurt him,to see his animal in pain.

• What kind of person is the veterinarian, Cathy Langston? How

can you tell?

The vet, seemed nice and did seem like she cared because she tried to give him the option to treat the cat.

• Why do you think Shawn is willing to pay for Lady’s treatment? Is

he the kind of person you would expect to pay for high-cost treat-

ment for a pet?

Shawn was wiling to pay for the surgery because he loves Lady. I wouldn't expect him to pay because he doesn't have much money.

Last Meow

I have truthfully, never had a pet except for a goldfish and It didn't live really long. Even for the small time the goldfish lasted, I care of it a lot. The truth, is that I couldn't do anything if it did get sick. If I did have a better pet I would, absolutely care for it.

The Crucible Drafts

2. Crucible Reputations Essay
Oscar Wildes, an Irish novelist and poet once said, "One can survive everything
nowadays, except death, and live down anything, except a good reputation." Through
this, Oscar acknowledges that everything in society is pretty much escapable, but living
up to a good reputation within the community, is a constant and continuous effort. In the
book "The Crucible," Arthur Miller portrays multiple characters outliving and getting past
the strict moral values in an attempt to keep up with a good reputation through John
Proctor, Reverend Paris, and Abigail Williams.

This is a great introduction of the book. Mainly, because it starts out w/ a quote. That involves reputation and how it is hard to keep up w/ it.

In Arthur Miller's famous play The Crucible, innocent people are accused of witchcraft
and are killed as a result. The importance of one's reputation is one of the major themes
shown in the play. The townspeople are held to very strict moral values and must uphold
their good name in Salem's community. John Procter, Elizabeth Procter, and Abigail all
have there reputation misrepresented in some way. Each one was being accused of
witchcraft or lies to protect ones name.

I like the way this person starts out by saying that, innocent people were being killed.

In Arthur Miller's widely known play The Crucible, harsh punishment and even death is
given to faultless citizens who are accused of being involved with witchcraft. The name
of people held their reputation. People strive to keep a good name in the village so that
they are portrayed as affable people. The majority of people that were accused of being
witches were the outcasts of the town that had bad names in the village. Many
characters see their name or reputation as their position in society. Abigail
Williams, John Proctor, and Reverend Hale all value their reputation in the village and
are willing to do anything to keep their good name.

I like the way the this person starts out by saying that innocent people were being killed, too. I really like the way he or/her goes into detail and examples of how there reputation is being ruined.

Embedded Quotes

1. The poppet is dangerous w/ all of it's witchcraft, “hard proof."

2. There shall be no hiding of,"fear."

3. I have seen nothing of both my niece and money"vanished."

Fill in the blank story for SAT Words 1-15

The first day of school led to the last day of three kids lives. Yaquiline, the lothario, Yessica, the maverick, and Yanessa, the nemesis of Yaquiline. On that day, they expirienced a philippic between each other in english class. It started fine, they all sat down in class while Mr. Schreiber introduced himself and the class. They figured out he was a jingoist, because he was wearing a red, white, and blue tuxedo. But after seeing that, they realized who was amongst them. . . the infamous “Y Ladies.”
Yaqualine, and Yanessa, hated each other because Yaqualine took a bite of Yanessa’s Spicy Chicken Sandwhich, which led to Yanessa calling Yaqualin tawdry. Yaqualine, or “Yaquie”, stated that as a philanderer, she slept with Yanessa’s boyfriend. Yanessa’s previous view of as a quixotic young girl, immedietly went away.
One day Yessica came to school and yelled at Yanessa and Yaqualine using solecism, Yessica couldn’t say anything because she felt saturnine beacause of all those spicy chicken burgers that she ate. Yaqualine didnt really care because she was a procrustean, she was tired of arguing. So the rivalry between Yanessa and Yaqualine came to an end. Many people say it was a Pyrrhic victory, because even after the arguement, they still were not friends.
But the wierd part of the story is, why didn’t Yessica get involved? She has the spoonerism of words that confuses the Y Ladies to death. But recently she found the Y Ladies protean and unbearable. She could have won this arguement and be the number one Y lady and live in sybarite for the rest of her life!!

Are Ideas Worth a Life

I don't really have any ideas or situations that I would die for. It really depends on the idea or/ situation. The only one I can think of is, if I had to choice between the lives of thirty, young children or/ my own. I have to admit that I would be sad to die. Yet, it doesn't matter if I did choose myself. I wouldn't be able to live with myself, and sooner or/ later I would kill myself. This is one of the few ideas or/ situations I would die for. The truth is that who really knows, when you will be pushed into a situation, that may end up with death.

The Crucible

I have lost trust in a person, in the past. That was close to my heart, this person was great towards me. Well, up to the situation that really hurt our relationship. I was hurt what this person did to me, but I didn't really want to end our friendship that we shared. I did forgive this person, but the whole relationship from the past wasn't completely re-gained. We still are close yet, not as much as the past I ail for.

Reflection on Project

The group worked really well together. We had fun playing other people and we all loved the way the script was written. My performance was not that great, but I would say that I did a pretty good job. I had lots of fun playing Hale. The one major detail that I would like to change about my performance was to read a little slower. I read too fast, that I read another person's character. Besides my mistake, I have to say that our group worked well.
