The New year is only seen as a goal at which you aim to make yourself better. The truth is that you have any day, hour or/min to make your decision, it only takes your own willpower to do it. Nothing will be erased, everything will still be there. But, just shaped in the illusion that it's a New Year and it will make you a greater person. In my personal perspective, I believe in the whole illusion of the New Year bringing greater things, but I also believe that it does take willpower to succeed the goals we each aim for. It's the hope that motivates us all to make us greater. It's the sight and the feeling that everything will be okay. Not having to worry about the past because theirs a New Year. To re-create and fight the past mistakes you have made and having to choose what will have the best interest of your well-being. To me this is the start of another chunk of my life. The soon ending of my high school career, the goodbyes that are painful, the start of my future goals, the pleasant meetings of new people, and most especially the start of new mistakes. Because no matter how much you say this year is going to be better. WE ARE ALL HUMAN AND WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES(:
