Soliloquy

1. Explain what makes Hamlet's speech on pp. 26-29 a soliloquy:

- Hamlets speech is considered to be classified as a soliloquy because of his direct and out loud thoughts. That he expresses in an empty environment where only the audience is supposed to be hearing only.

2. What insights has Hamlet given the reader into his character's thoughts?
- The insight that is given to the audience is that he is disgusted by the fact that his father has not been dead for two months, yet. But, his mother is "O most wicked speed, to post with such dexterity to incestuos."

"Is" seems like the wrong verb to use to lead into the quote. Doesn't match the sentence structure of the quote.
